This opportunity would suit someone who is new to the workforce or looking for a practical recent career direction.Previous brake press experience is not essential.
Training and support will be provided.Learn how to transform flat sheet metal into precise components and three-dimensional shapes using carefully planned bends.About the RoleBrake press operation is skilled fabrication work that requires accuracy, technical thinking and attention to detail.
You will learn to:Set up and operate CNC brake press machineryRead and interpret engineering drawingsSelect and set up the correct toolingFollow planned bending sequencesProduce components accurately to tight tolerancesUse measuring equipment to check angles and dimensionsIdentify materials and finished componentsFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaWhat We Are Looking ForGood mechanical aptitudeIntermediate mathematical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailReliability, punctuality and a positive work ethicA willingness to learn and follow instructionsA genuine interest in machinery and manufacturingA commitment to workplace safetyThe ability to perform practical workshop dutiesWho May Suit This Role?
