Team Global Express has an exciting chance for a Night Shift Operations Supervisor to join our Express Parcels team based in Cardiff, NSW.This is a p ermanent full-time night shift position , working Sunday night to Friday morning from 11:00pm to 7:00am.You will take a hands-on approach to leading day-to-day depot operations, coordinating the team and resources to ensure the operation runs safely, efficiently and delivers a high level of service to our customers.You will lead and support the team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, productivity and operational performance.What you'll doLead and supervise the day-to-day depot operationsCoordinate staffing, labour and equipment requirementsLead, coach and support employees across the operationManage productivity, service levels and operational costsMonitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvementEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with company proceduresInvestigate service failures and lost or damaged freight and follow through on corrective actionsCoordinate freight movements and linehaul activitiesSupport the efficient loading, unloading, sorting and movement of freightEnsure compliance with safety, transport and regulatory requirementsWork closely with the wider team to ensure customer service expectations are metWhat you'll bringPrevious supervisory or leadership experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environmentExperience leading,
