We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchenhand to join the team at TBBQ Pty Ltd in Fitzroy, VIC.
This is a part-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations.
As a Kitchenhand, you will be the backbone of our culinary team, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Your contribution will directly impact the quality of service we deliver to our customers and the overall success of our establishment.Key responsibilitiesPreparing and organising ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and proteinsMaintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen setting by washing dishes, utensils, pots and pans throughout serviceAssisting chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as directedManaging kitchen waste and recycling in compliance with health and safety regulationsMonitoring and restocking kitchen supplies, pantry items and cleaning materialsOperating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and food preparation machinery in accordance with safety proceduresSupporting food storage and inventory management, including proper labelling and rotation of ingredientsAssisting with basic food preparation and plating as required by the kitchen teamMaintaining communication with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during serviceAdhering to all health,
