About the Role
We are currently seeking a casual experienced and professional Handyperson to join the Maintenance Department.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the general repair, maintenance and operational requirements of the Hotel.
You will report directly to and work closely with the Maintenance Manager and the Chief Engineer to ensure work is performed in accordance with the set standards and safe work practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
General repairs and maintenance within the Hotel such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, fixing leaking taps, painting, clearing blocked drains / toilets, Checking Air Conditioning etcAny other duties as assigned by Maintenace manager or Chief EngineerMaintain exceptional customer servicewhen dealing with our guestsComply with all Occupational Health and Safety legislationMaintain excellent personal presentation standards at all timesBe willing and able to work on a 7-day rotating roster with shifts including mornings, evenings,
weekends and public holidays.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance rolePrevious Hospitality experience is an advantageMechanical / Electrical Trade qualifications will be a distinct advantageHave efficient and effective time management skillsBe able to learn new information quickly with an eye for detailBe extremely team orientated
