About you
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, & radiology procedures.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, the RN ensures safe, effective, and evidence-based care across all phases of the patient journey, consistent with Calvary's Mission, Vision, and Values, and commitment to excellence in private healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive critical nursing care for patients undergoing procedures such as diagnostic and interventional radiology & vascular procedures, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker/ICD insertion, and other cardiac interventions.
Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessment, preparation, and patient education
Perform intra-procedural roles including scrub, tech, and circulating nurse
Monitor ECG, haemodynamics, and patient condition throughout procedures
Deliver post-procedure care, including vascular access management, haemostasis, and early detection of complications
Participate in on-call roster to support emergency cardiac procedures

Valid Visa
Demonstrated recent Cath lab experience
Ability to work unsupervised,



proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
