Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes.
We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Hospital Services Manager the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the principles of safety within a health care environment and be able to multi skill between the Environmental Services & Catering Departments.
The role is a casual position, and we are seeking someone with a flexible approach to an ever-changing setting.
Cleaner
General cleaning knowledge.
Work both independently and within a team structure.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
High Standard of customer service and team approach.
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work with minimal supervisions and to prioritise work effectively.
Proven ability in a similar position.

Sound knowledge of customer service.
The ability to follow instruction from chef.
The ability to work in a team.
The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Certificate in Safe Food Handling.
Experience working as a Catering Assistant.
High Standard of customer service and team approach.
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work with minimal supervisions and to prioritise work effectively.
Vaccination Preventable Disease:
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment:
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
Varicella (chicken pox)
Pertussis (whooping cough), Diphtheria and Tetanus
You must be able to provide serology evidence and a VPD form for the above-mentioned vaccinations and will be asked by the recruiting manager to supply this evidence if you are the preferred candidate for the role.
