Position Summary:
We are seeking Level 2,3 &4 Engineers [Systems, Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, Asset Management and Electronic] to provide engineering services in a Defence setting associated with requirements engineering, engineering metrics, integration engineering, Verification and Validation, test and evaluation, and technical performance measures.
They need to lead and manage assigned staff and resources to achieve high quality outcomes for the client, in accordance with the client's key performance indicators within the budget.
They develop relationships with client contract managers and Forge stakeholders, coordinate information sharing, decision making and resource allocation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver high quality outcomes & services to the client within your discipline and expertise
Develop and maintain a trusted partnership with the Client
Achieve the companies internal project management goals
Lead, manage and coordinate independent projects
Support to business development and winning work
Internal & client communication – including support to, meetings, reports, stakeholder engagement and decision making
Leadership, guidance, support and development to staff within the service Line

Experience [ [Demonstrated with examples: 3 to 15 years, varying by level]
Working in the Defence and Federal Government Sector
Applying engineering techniques, skills and knowledge to engineering tasks and disciplines
Vocational experience in management and/or consultancy roles
Analytical and problem-solving approach to tasks, including the ability to develop a range of practical options for issue resolution
Managing client/supervisor and delivery of services and engineer work packages and products to clients/supervisor
Management of teams, people and work in the Defence sector or Consultancy profession
Application of engineering disciplines within the context of project management [including: risk management, resource management, and governance]
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: Systems Engineering degree or equivalent Engineering degree and relevant experience
Essential: Active Australian Government security clearance at minimum of Baseline
Preferable: Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent
Preferable: Prince 2, MSP or similar project management qualifications
Preferable: MBA or equivalent commercial knowledge and experience
Preferable: Public Sector Procurement or equivalent
