About The Role
Provide exceptional patient-centred care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.
Work effectively as a Scrub or Scout RN within a multidisciplinary operating theatre team.
Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, VMOs, allied health professionals and nursing colleagues.
Maintain effective communication with patients, visitors, colleagues and other stakeholders
Ensure patient and staff confidentiality is always maintained.
Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, respect and continuous improvement
Maintain compliance with relevant Department of Health requirements, Work Health and Safety standards and infection prevention and control practices.
This position offers an attractive work -life balance with One RDO per month, published 14 days in advance
Some on-call commitments for your specialty will be required, including occasional nights and weekends.
Voluntary additional on-call opportunities may also be available.
About You
Valid AHPRA registration.
Bachelor's in nursing.
Current or recent Cardiac, Vascular, Orthopaedic and /or Neurosurgical scrub/scout experience.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient centered care.
