Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals across all industries.
As an Aged Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our elderly clients.
This position requires a robust commitment to providing high-quality care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
Assist elderly individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
Provide emotional support and companionship to promote a positive and nurturing environment.
Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.




Document and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans.
Participate in training and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills in aged care.
Qualifications:
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Agerd Care
Previous experience in aged care or a related field is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient nature.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Basic knowledge of Aged Care Act.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful circumstances.
Valid CPR and First Aid certifications are desirable.
