Working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Manager, this broad and varied position offers exposure to financial and management accounting, cash flow management, statutory compliance and business partnering, while providing valuable commercial insights to support business decisions.Your key responsibilities will include:Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare various monthly financial reports, Brand and Retailer P&Ls;, and provide meaningful financial insights to support business decisions.Budgeting & Forecasting: Maintain annual cash flow and balance sheet forecasts, support budgeting activities and monitor financial performance and covenant compliance.Multi-Entity Financial Management: Oversee financial reporting and day-to-day accounting functions across multiple business entities, including accounts payable and receivable.Licensing & Royalties: Manage royalty calculations, forecasts, licensing sales reporting, profit share calculations and partner submissions.Tax & Compliance: Prepare and lodge IAS and BAS returns,



ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.Business Partnering: Work collaboratively with management to provide financial insights, improve processes and strengthen financial reporting.Finance Operations & Support: Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end finance operations, providing backup support to the Finance Manager and assisting with broader finance projects as required.About YouYou are a CA or CPA qualified accountant with strong technical expertise, communication skills, commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approach.
You enjoy working in a collaborative workplace, building strong relationships and contributing to broader business success.You'll bring:Minimum 5 years' experience in financial or management accounting.Experience in FMCG environments highly regarded.Strong financial reporting, cash flow management and statutory compliance knowledge.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems and Xero.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with financial and non-financial stakeholders at all levelsStrong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and contribute to continuous improvement.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
