Our client is a Federal Government agency seeking an experienced Environment & Release Manager to support the coordination and delivery of complex ICT releases across a large enterprise technology setting.This role will work across delivery, testing, engineering and business teams to coordinate release schedules, manage environment dependencies and ensure releases progress through the required governance and change processes.The roleYou will support end-to-end release and environment management across multiple applications and technology platforms, coordinating release activity across internal teams, delivery partners and vendors.Key responsibilities include:Coordinate and manage ICT releases across multiple applications, projects and programsDevelop and maintain detailed release schedules, balancing technical dependencies, business requirements and competing prioritiesWork with testing and engineering teams to identify environment requirements, constraints and dependenciesCoordinate release content reviews, readiness assessments, milestone reviews and Go/No-Go activitiesDevelop and maintain release, deployment, implementation and runbook documentationWork closely with release engineers to understand code branches, merges and deployment impactsProvide regular release reporting and represent release status through ICT Change Management and planning forumsEnsure releases comply with required change, cyber security, penetration testing and governance processesCoordinate across internal delivery teams,



external partners and technology vendors.Identify opportunities to continuously improve release and change management processes.About youTo succeed in this role you will need:Significant experience in Release and Environment Management in government or large enterprise organisationsStrong experience planning, coordinating and managing software releases in complex ICT environmentsExperience using release management, work management and deployment tracking toolsStrong understanding of release management, change management and associated governance processesExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent releases and dependencies across several portfolios such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, EDW, SAP, APIC, Environments, Data, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including identifying release risks and issuesExcellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work effectively across development, testing, engineering, operations and business teamsGood understanding of the software development lifecycleProject management experience within software or technology environments will be highly regardedAn awareness of contemporary AI capabilities, risks and their practical application within ICT environmentsThis role requires Australian citizenship, and the successful candidate must be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
