Working closely with our CFO and finance team, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations across our global business while contributing to process improvements and the continued growth of the finance function.We are open to considering candidates from a variety of backgrounds - whether you are a qualified accounting professional or an experienced Bookkeeper looking to step into a broader senior finance role.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable transactions and complete weekly AP account reconciliationsProcess accounts receivable transactions and complete regular AR reconciliationsComplete daily bank reconciliations across relevant accountsAssist with monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with the preparation and review of payroll as needed by the finance teamSupport timely external lodgment of payroll-related obligationsManage the Accounts and Customer Accounts mailboxes,
resolving queries from internal and external stakeholdersLiaise with the inventory and procurement teams to ensure purchase orders are billed correctlyAnswer and follow up payment and supplier queries in a timely mannerComplete accurate data entry across finance systemsPrepare reports as requested by management and identify opportunities to improve existing finance processesTreat all finance and payroll information in the strictest confidenceEssential Knowledge & SkillsPrevious experience in a senior accounts, AP/AR or finance officer role with a strong understanding of contemporary accounts practicesDemonstrated experience across AP, AR, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliationsExposure to payroll processing or payroll review, with multi-jurisdiction experience highly regardedExperience with industry-recognised business systems such as NetSuite, SAP or similarExtensive knowledge and experience using Excel is essentialIntermediate computer skills and strong MS Office knowledgeExceptionally high attention to detail and accuracyHighly effective time management skills and the ability to meet daily goals and deadlinesAbility to work under pressure while maintaining accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer service approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholdersHighest level of integrity,
