You will work alongside an experienced carpentry professional, gaining practical knowledge and hands‐on experience whilst completing your formal apprenticeship qualifications.
This role is fundamental to building a strong foundation in the carpentry trade and will equip you with the technical skills and industry knowledge required for a successful career in this exciting and rewarding field.Immediate Start.Key responsibilitiesAssisting an experienced carpenter with the domestic house maintenance and renovations fieldsLearning and applying safe carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping and joining timber and other materialsPreparing work sites and organising tools and materials in a safe and productive mannerFollowing blueprints, plans and specifications accurately to complete assigned tasksMaintaining and caring for carpentry tools and equipment appropriatelyAdhering to all workplace health and safety standards and regulations at all timesAttending and completing all required training modules and competency assessments as part of the apprenticeship programmeCommunicating effectively with your supervisor to understand requirements and seek guidanceAssisting with the installation and assembly of cabinetry, doors, windows and other carpentry components, including decking, flooring, painting,
