What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced parks and landscape construction professional to provide in office leadership and specialist technical support within the Parks Delivery team. In this hands-on role, you'll coordinate daily works, support crew performance and contribute to the delivery of parks infrastructure and landscape construction projects that enhance community spaces across the Fraser Coast.
What your day will look like:
- Lead and participate in parks infrastructure and landscape construction activities.
- Coordinate daily work programs, plant, materials and site resources.
- Interpret plans and specifications to deliver quality project outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members onsite.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.
- Complete operational reporting and maintain accurate records using Council systems.

What you’ll need for success:
- Queensland Class C Driver Licence.
- General Construction Induction (White Card).
What’s nice to have:
- Experience in parks infrastructure, landscape construction or related civil construction activities.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and project requirements.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating work crews and site activities.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver quality outcomes within required timeframes.
