KingKira Group is looking for an experienced operational leader to take charge of our Port Hedland branch. You’ll be responsible for safety, people, clients and financial performance, and you’ll have real influence over how the branch grows.

The role:

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead all branch operations so that our services are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. You will:

- Lead safety and make sure work complies with WHS, environmental and controlled waste requirements. This includes running pre-starts and toolbox talks, and leading incident investigations.
- Lead and develop your team through coaching, mentoring and performance management. You’ll also manage labour resourcing and scheduling to meet client demand.
- Manage the branch’s finances, including budgets, quoting, cost control, labour recovery, invoicing and profitability.
- Be the main operational contact for clients and grow the business through client engagement, sales and quoting.
- Manage plant, vehicles and equipment so they are maintained, compliant and ready to work, with as little downtime as possible.
- Drive compliance and continuous improvement under our Integrated Management System (IMS), including audits, reporting and controlled waste tracking.

What success looks like:

In your first 6-12 months you’ll have built a safe, stable and well-resourced team. You’ll also have strengthened relationships with key clients,



brought the branch’s financial performance in line with budget, and found real opportunities for growth.

About you:

You’re a hands-on leader who stays calm under pressure. You set high standards for safety and service, and people want to work with you.

Essential:

- Experience as a Branch Manager or in an operational leadership role in industrial services, mining, waste management or a related industry
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
- A sound understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems
- Financial and operational management experience, including budgeting and cost control
- A track record of managing client relationships and operational performance in demanding environments
- Strong computer, reporting and administrative skills
- A current driver’s licence

Desirable:

- Experience managing branch depots
- Knowledge of controlled waste management and environmental compliance
- Relevant high-risk work licences or industry certifications
- Experience with HSEQ Systems
- Qualifications in management, business, operations or WHS

This is a residential role, so you will need to live in Port Hedland or be willing to relocate.
