About the Role

We are seeking a practical and organised Village Coordinator to manage the day-to-day coordination of village and camp services at Echidna Gully Village. This hands-on operational role is the central point of contact for accommodation, housekeeping, maintenance, grounds and contractor activities during normal business hours.

You will coordinate priorities across village personnel, service providers and site stakeholders to maintain safe, efficient and consistently high service standards. The role includes day-to-day supervision and task coordination, but does not carry formal performance management, disciplinary or budget accountability.

Roster and Location

- Echidna Gully Village, Hillgrove Mine, near Armidale NSW.
- 8 days on / 6 days off roster.
- 12-hour day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate accommodation reservations, room allocations, arrivals, departures and changes in line with site requirements.
- Maintain accurate occupancy records, forecast upcoming accommodation needs and respond to camp-related enquiries.
- Coordinate and provide day-to-day supervision of housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance and grounds personnel.
- Allocate, prioritise and monitor daily tasks, including routine and reactive maintenance, and follow work through to completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation,



communal areas and village facilities, and coordinate corrective action where required.
- Log and monitor maintenance requests and escalate resourcing, performance or quality issues to the Commercial Manager.
- Coordinate contractors and specialist service providers, ensuring compliance with site access, induction and agreed scope requirements.
- Promote safe work practices, report hazards and incidents, and support inspections, audits and corrective actions.
- Maintain clear records, logs and updates covering occupancy, maintenance, contractors and upcoming village requirements.
- Support the development and administration of structured after-hours camp processes and handovers.
- Obtain quotes in accordance with the HGM Procurement Policy and raise purchase requisitions in Pronto for approved goods and services.
- Undertake other reasonable duties within capability and training to support village and site operations.

About You

- Previous experience in a coordination, administration or facilities-related role, ideally within a camp, village, accommodation or similar environment.
- Experience coordinating contractors and service providers.




- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and changing operational needs.
- A practical problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Transparent, professional communication and a service-oriented approach when working with employees, contractors and visitors.
- Ability to work autonomously within defined responsibilities and coordinate multiple stakeholders to achieve operational outcomes.
- Familiarity with accommodation booking systems or basic administrative systems is desirable.
- Strong safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining high village standards.

Requirements

- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- National Police Check.
- General understanding of site HSEQ requirements; formal HSEQ qualifications are not mandatory.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing site testing requirements.
