About the role:

You can expect to:

- Provide direct tax and international tax advice to corporate clients, private groups, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.
- Advise on complex income tax, corporate tax, international tax and cross-border structuring matters.
- Assist clients with domestic and international transactions, business restructures and tax planning strategies.
- Advise on trusts tax, private wealth structures, corporate reorganisations and asset protection matters.
- Manage matters from initial instructions through to completion, including preparing technical advice and liaising directly with clients.
- Assist with ATO reviews, audits, objections and tax controversy matters where required.




- Work closely with senior practitioners while taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and progression of matters.

The ideal candidate:

- Approximately 4–5 years PQE with substantial experience in direct tax and international tax advisory.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian income tax and corporate taxation, with demonstrated exposure to international and cross-border tax matters.
- Experience managing tax advisory matters with a good level of independence.
- Confident drafting complex tax advice, undertaking technical research and providing practical, commercially focused recommendations.
- Comfortable dealing directly with sophisticated clients and managing competing priorities.
- Solid attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to take ownership of matters through to completion.
- Experience gained in a specialist tax practice, commercial law firm or Big 4 accounting firm will be highly regarded.
