Bribie Island
Be the face and voice of a growing medical brand.
TopDoctors Medical, Skin & Specialist Centre is a two-site medical practice on Bribie Island with an expanding team of GPs, visiting specialists and nurses, and a steady pipeline of new services to launch. We have plenty to say to our community. We’re looking for an experienced content creator who can say it on camera, then shoot it, cut it and publish it.
This is a role for someone who’s done this before. You’ll be the regular on-screen presence across our channels and the person who runs them. We give you the ideas, the clinical content and the scripts; you turn them into short-form video that a local community wants to watch and share, from filming to final edit to posting and community management.
What you’ll do
Present on camera as the recognisable face of our social channels: introducing our team, interviewing doctors and nurses, and explaining health topics in plain, warm, everyday language. Own and run the content calendar across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, expanding to YouTube and Google Business. Shoot and edit short-form video end to end: filming, lighting, sound, captions, graphics, music, colour. Translate clinical scripts and briefs into content that’s accurate, engaging and on-brand. Manage our community: comments, messages and reviews. Report monthly on reach, engagement and enquiries generated. Work with the Practice Manager and Principal on campaign launches and seasonal messaging.
What you’ll bring (essential)
At least two years’ professional experience creating short-form video content for a brand, agency or employer, with a body of published work to show for it. A showreel or portfolio in which you appear on camera:
confident, clear, natural, with an easy rapport with an audience. Demonstrated growth of a social channel you’ve managed, with the numbers to back it. Robust editing skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve, and competence in Canva or Adobe for graphics. A sharp feel for what’s current on social and the judgement to keep it appropriate for a healthcare setting. Self-direction, organisation and the ability to work across two sites. A current driver’s licence.
Valued
A qualification in media, communications, marketing or journalism. Experience in health, allied health, aesthetics or wellness. Photography skills.
What matters to us
Healthcare content has rules. Everything you publish is approved by the Principal before it goes live, and you’ll work within the Ahpra advertising guidelines and patient privacy and consent requirements. We’ll train you in these; what we need from you is the instinct to check before you post.
Why TopDoctors
A brand with momentum and leadership that backs creative work. Real creative ownership: you’ll shape the voice of the practice. Modern clinics, proper gear, and a team of clinicians happy to be on camera with you. Two flexible days a week, the Bribie Island lifestyle, and a role that grows as the practice does.
How to apply
Send your CV and a link to your showreel or three short videos you’ve made and appeared in. Applications without on-camera examples will not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to shoot and edit a 60-second piece-to-camera on a topic we provide, within 48 hours.
