/nAbout the Role /n
/n
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience. You’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the veterinary team with the day-to-/u2011day running of the hospital.

/nYour responsibilities will include: /n
/n
/n
/n
- Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
/n
/n
- Answering phones, emails and client enquiries
/n
/n
- Booking and managing appointments
/n
/n
- Checking clients and patients in and out
/n
/n
- Processing payments and handling cash/transactions
/n
/n
- Managing client records and maintaining accurate information
/n
/n
- Liaising with veterinarians, nurses and the wider team
/n
/n
- Assisting with general administrative and reception duties
/n
/n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
/n
/n
- Providing compassionate support to clients during both routine and difficult visits
/n
/n
/n
/nAbout You: /n
/n
We’re looking for someone who is:
/n
/n
/n
/n
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys helping people
/n
/n
- Passionate about animals and their wellbeing
/n
/n
- Confident communicating with clients both in person and over the phone
/n
/n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
/n
/n
- Calm and professional in a busy environment
/n
/n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
/n
/n
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritising competing demands
/n
/n
- Previous veterinary reception or veterinary industry experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to the right person with strong customer service and administration experience
/n
