The Aussie Hotel is a much-loved local pub serving hearty pub classics, fresh homemade dishes, functions and events. With a busy summer period ahead, we’re looking for experienced Chefs to join the team on a casual basis.

About the role
/n
You’ll work across busy lunch and dinner services, helping deliver consistent, quality food across our bistro and functions. This is a hands-on role suited to chefs who enjoy a fast-paced pub environment and working as part of a team.

Looking for
/n

- Previous commercial kitchen experience
/n
- Trade qualifications are preferred
/n
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards

- Ability to work across a flexible roster, including weekends

- Reliable, positive and able to work well within a team
/n
- Comfortable working in a busy service environment
/n
/n

For the right person, there is potential to transition from casual summer work into a full-time opportunity. Sponsorship may also be considered after 6 months of employment, subject to eligibility, performance, business requirements and approval.
