We’re now looking for a Casual Early Childhood Teachers — or someone who’s currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.

Where you’ll work /n

We’re looking for casual Early Childhood Teachers to support our Y Kinders services across Mirboo North, Inverloch, Newhaven and Wonthaggi (White Road and Drysdale Street).

/n

These services are located across the Bass Coast and South Gippsland region, offering the prospect to work with a variety of welcoming kindergarten communities while enjoying the flexibility of casual work.

/n

You don’t need to live in these towns to apply. ECTs living within a reasonable travel distance of any of these services are encouraged to apply, including those interested in working across one or multiple locations.

/n

What You’ll Do /n

- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development

/n

- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators

/n

- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired

/n

- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

/n

/n

What You’ll Bring /n

/n

- Current qualification in Early Childhood Teaching and current registration with VIT

/n

- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning

/n

- Current Working with Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

/n

- Great teamwork, communication, and reliability

/n
