Here at Linear, we are growing and have a newly created role toa Finance Analyst to join our collaborative and supportive Finance team.

/n We're looking for a commercially minded and analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving problems, and turning data into meaningful business insights. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career finance qualified who is looking to move beyond traditional reporting and develop their commercial acumen.

/n

Working closely with operational leaders and the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, reporting improvements, and strategic projects across the organisation.

Your Role in Our Future

/n As our Finance Analyst, you will partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to provide financial insights that support decision-making and improve business performance.

/n You'll be involved in a broad range of responsibilities including:

/n

/n

- Preparing and analysing budgets, forecasts and financial models.

/n

- Delivering weekly and monthly financial performance reporting.

/n

- Monitoring revenue, labour costs, utilisation and profitability trends.

/n

- Supporting business cases and evaluating commercial opportunities.

/n

- Providing practical financial advice to operational leaders.

/n

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and financial visibility.

/n

- Supporting strategic projects and business improvement initiatives.

/n

- Developing reporting tools, dashboards and analytics that enhance decision-making.

/n

/n

Your Experience

/n You are an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates.

/n You'll bring:

/n

/n

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting,



Finance or a related discipline.

/n

- CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards completion).

/n

- 1-3 years' experience in a finance, commercial analysis or business support role.

/n

- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

/n

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

/n

- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear and practical recommendations.

/n

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

/n

- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering results.

/n
