The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a driven and conscientious Asphalt Plant Operator at our Carisbrook production site, to further strengthen the Centre State Asphalt team.

In this role, you will report to the Asphalt Plant Manager and be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production and supply activities.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Participate and contribute to the Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements of the production operations.

Full operation of the Carisbrook asphalt plant for day or night works supply, depending on project needs.

Assist the manager in overseeing daily activities, raw material replenishment, maintenance checks,



and monitoring quality and productivity targets of asphalt production.

Support the manager with operational documentation.

Collaborate with the Production, Laboratory and asphalt crews.

Weekend work and flexible start and finish times are expected.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Apply a proactive mindset to problem-solving and resource management.

Commitment to safety and quality assurance.

Foster a positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience in asphalt production or a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

Experience in operating in a multi-shift environment, with a high degree of variability.

Forklift and Front-end loader licence – favourable.

First Aid & CPR Certification – Advantageous. Construction Induction (White) Card is required. Assistance can be provided to obtain.
