We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. You'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to utilize your skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding setting.



**Key Responsibilities:*** Maintain and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment and site infrastructure, following preventative maintenance schedules.* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on automated equipment.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency and productivity.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D;, Engineering) on projects involving new equipment design and installation.* Ensure all work complies with company health and safety policies.**What you'll bring:*** Certificate III – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and machining)* Proven experience in a food manufacturing or related industry (essential)* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with pneumatics (essential)* Ability to weld (TIG and MIG) and carry out minor fabrication work* Experience with automated plant and mechanical machine timing* Experience with packaging equipment (Case packers/Thermoformers/Conveyors) is highly desirable.* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills* Excellent teamwork and communication skills **Desirable (but not essential):*** D Class Electrical License* Forklift License* SAP and Microsoft Office experience **What we offer:*** Competitive hourly rate + 15% Afternoon Shift loading + Double time O/T.* Be part of a great workshop culture.* Comprehensive training and development opportunities.* Free on-site parking.* Subsidized on-site canteen.* Fully equipped gym and on-site masseuse.* A supportive and inclusive work environment.
