27.5 hours per week | 3 mornings & 5 afternoons | Vacation Care
Croydon Out of School Hours Care (Coscare) is seeking an experienced OSHC Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time position.
The position is 27.5 hours per week , working 3 Before School Care mornings and 5 After School Care afternoons , Monday to Friday, with work also available across our Vacation Care program during school holidays .
- Above Award rates may be offered to the right candidate , depending on experience and demonstrated OSHC knowledge.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience working in an OSHC setting
- Has strong knowledge of OSHC programming, planning and documentation
- Is confident planning and implementing engaging activities for primary school-aged children
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and works well within a team
- Has a strong commitment to children's safety, wellbeing and inclusion
Must Have
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check issued within the last 3 months
- Required Geccko Child Safety Training , or willingness to complete prior to working directly with children
- Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting training and knowledge
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training , or willingness to obtain as required
- Ability to meet all required child-safe employment and screening requirements
The Role
You will work as part of our team to provide a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care .
Responsibilities include active supervision, engaging with children, contributing to programming and documentation, facilitating activities and supporting the protected day-to-day operation of the service.
