A part-time position is available for a motivated individual skilled in music to fill the role of a music director at Positive Success Church. The music director organises and leads the worship team in praise and worship while also overseeing and coordinating all the details encompassing a worship service.

Responsibilities include:

1. Build a team of musicians and singers skilled in worship by further developing their technical abilities.

2. Work closely with the Worship Manager to lead and guide the team.

3. Plan the worship services in consultation with the speaker to ensure that all the musical and technical aspects of the service advance the theme of the day.

4. Provide direction in song/music arrangement that facilitates congregational worship.

5. Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in services.

6. Work closely with the Worship Manager to provide training and develop programs that teach and encourage team members to develop their musical skills.

1. Competent in keyboard (preferred) and/or guitar.

2. Available to work on Thursday and Sunday; and Saturday as and when required.
