This is a permanent part-time (0.63FTE) position commencing October 2026. For more than 40 years, we have provided a high-quality boarding experience for students. Our college has an excellent reputation and consistently receives great reviews from parents. Our college is located in Moora, a small farming community about 170 km northeast of Perth. The town has a pharmacy, a dentist, doctors and a district hospital.

Role

The successful applicant will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning.

They will perform external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, and other general cleaning.

This applicant will be expected to complete vacation cleaning duties, including the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas, maintenance of gymnasium floors, and other such duties as required in the Fundamentals of Cleaning Guidelines.

The successful applicant will be expected to report all faults, maintenance (including graffiti), incidents and issues to the College Manager as they clean and maintain student residential colleges in accordance with Department and occupational safety and health standards, training and procedures.

Eligibility

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- complete Fundamentals of Cleaning training as soon as practicable
