We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientedpart-time HR Administratorto join our team at ourPort Melbourne office.
Working as part of a small and collaborative team, this is a hands-on position offering broad exposure across a range of HR and administrative functions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to key HR processes while developing their skills and experience in a dynamic international organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with payroll processing, including end-of-month reporting and maintaining payroll systems in accordance with relevant legislation and requirements.
Provide administrative support across the recruitment and onboarding process.
Coordinate and facilitate employee refresher training and e-learning programs.
Provide support in employee relations matters and assist in fostering positive relationships between management and employees.
Support compliance and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) initiatives, including assisting with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of company policies and procedures.
Assist with the maintenance and administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Provide general HR administration and support to the team as required.
Skills & Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally have:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and an understanding of fundamental HR processes.
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
A willingness to learn and develop across a broad range of HR function
