GetSet is seeking motivated and reliable school leavers to commence a Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship with our client based in Griffith.

This is a wonderful chance to learn a skilled trade, gain hands on experience across commercial and residential projects, and build a long term career in the industry.

Our client provides professional painting services across a wide range of building environments and specialises in various application techniques and finishes.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Painter & Decorator, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople and receive practical, on the job training. You’ll learn skills across diverse projects while earning and developing your career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with surface preparation (sanding, filling, cleaning)




- Learn masking techniques and surface protection
- Apply paints using rollers and other application methods
- Work across a variety of residential and commercial environments
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

- Genuine interest in painting and decorating
- Recent school leaver (no prior experience required)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well in a teamDriver’s licence or working towards one
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
