Social Futures is a leading community service organisation with 50 years’ experience creating positive social change which sees us working with participants, organisations and government to build inclusive communities where everyone is valued and supported.
We are seeking a Program Worker to join our Reconnect and Getting it Together team on a Part Time Fixed Term Basis based in Tweed Heads to help make a positive social change together as we support young people to build their confidence and self-esteem, learning independent living skills and to engage positively in their community
Job Description

What you'll be doing
- Support customers to access services in a timely and appropriate manner, including provision of relevant information about services to customers, their families, carers and community partners
- Provide high-quality customer-centred individual and/or family therapeutic interventions and/or case management
- Provide practice that is strengths based, person-centred,
solutions-focused and culturally responsive and safe in line with Social Futures Practice Framework requirements
- Participate in supervision activities including case reviews and case audits
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar
- Experience providing high-quality youth centred individual and/or family therapeutic interventions and/or case management
- Excellent written and oral communication, digital literacy, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships
- Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
