About the Role
We are seeking a Resident Supervisor to join the Boarding Houseteam to support the welfare, personal development and pastoral careof boarders. You will be a key member of the boarding communityfrom Years 7-12, helping the students and parents through theschool terms.
You will receive an annual salary and be required to live in ourshared accommodation for Resident Boarding Supervisors in theBoarding House where you will be provided with your own room. Youraccommodation, utilities, and all meals during term time will becovered through an after-tax deduction made via payroll on afortnightly basis. This position requires 31 hours of work perfortnight during term-time, following a roster system that includesafter-hours and weekend shifts, potentially involving overnightsupervision. During the non-term time, you will not be required forwork and will remain living in the school accommodation throughoutthe year.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
- A valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or a Schoolsetting
- Well-developed communication skills and attention todetail
- The ability to establish good working relations withparents, colleagues and the School community
- Previous boarding supervision experience (highlydesirable)
All team members at CGS are required to have:
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check; and
- Full working rights within Australia.
