Construction Labourer - Roof Truss Assembly - ASAP Start! - Long Term On Going!
Our client is seeking an experienced Timber Roof Truss Assembler to join their team at their Unanderra facility. This role involves assembling timber roof trusses using power tools and manual assembly techniques.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the current operator for a handover period before they leave.
Start Date: ASAP Start Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Overtime: Occasional overtime available
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble timber roof trusses using manual assembly methods.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Measure, position and assemble timber components.
- Follow assembly instructions and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements
- Previous experience in timber roof truss assembly is essential
- carpenters and people with timber experience who are keen to be trained and developed into a truss assembler.
- Experience using power tools and manually assembling timber components.
- Current White Card.
- Willingness to get Work at Heights and other tickets.
- A carpentry trade qualification is not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
