South East Queensland Hauliers (SEQH) is looking for experienced MC A-Double Drivers to join our growing container transport operation based in Hemmant.
We are seeking drivers with proven A-Double experience who are looking for consistent Monday to Friday work, reliable hours and the opportunity to build a long-term career with an established Queensland transport business.
As a family-owned business operating since the 1960s, SEQH continues to grow, with major investment across our operations, including our brand-new purpose-built facility at the Port of Brisbane.

Shifts Available
Day Shift
- Monday to Friday
- Start times generally between 4:00am – 6:00am
- 8–10 hour shifts
- $40.48/hr + super + overtime
Night Shift
- Monday to Friday
- Start times generally between 3:00pm – 4:00pm
- 8–10 hour shifts
- $40.48/hr + super + overtime
- Additional $38 per day night allowance
About the Role
As an A-Double Container Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of containers between our Hemmant depot, the Port of Brisbane and customer locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating A-Double combinations
- Transporting containers to and from the wharf and customer locations
- Completing daily vehicle pre-start checks
- Completing timesheets and transport documentation accurately
- Working closely with our operations and dispatch teams
- Ensuring loads are secured correctly
- Complying with fatigue management requirements
- Following Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
- Reporting vehicle or equipment issues promptly
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service
What We're Looking For
This position is specifically for experienced A-Double drivers.
You will need:
- Current MC licence
- Proven A-Double driving experience
- Container transport experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to complete:
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening
- Driver assessment
- National Police Check
- Licence and employment checks
