Production Associates - Manufacturing - Somerton

Looking for a hands‑on role with great Monday–Friday hours?

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to join a busy manufacturing and fulfilment environment in Somerton .

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work, working as part of a team and seeing the finished product come together.

You don't need to have extensive manufacturing experience — we're looking for people with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be involved across different areas of the production process, including:

- Assisting production and fulfilment teams to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Supporting sewing operators by distributing rugs and assisting with finishing tasks
- Trimming and removing excess thread and completing final finishing work
- Inspecting rugs for print defects and quality issues
- Reworking products where required and sorting defective items
- Organising rugs, materials and components ready for production and fulfilment
- Assisting with moving and organising rugs throughout the production area
- Checking components and building, rolling and packing rug systems for ecommerce orders
- Completing quality checks before products are dispatched
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and protected

What we're looking for

- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
- Physically capable and happy to be on their feet throughout the day
- Detail‑oriented and able to identify quality issues
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn different areas of the production process
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, sewing or similar experience is highly regarded but not essential

Physical requirements

This is a hands‑on production role, so you’ll need to be comfortable with:

- Standing and walking for the duration of the shift
- Frequent bending, kneeling and stooping
- Repetitive use of hands, fingers and wrists
- Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
- Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs (approximately 23kg) independently
- Team lifting heavier items when required

What's on offer?

- $33.85 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- No weekend work
