Oz Seals Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated, hands‑on and technically minded Polyurethane & Rubber Process Worker to join our manufacturing team in a permanent full‑time position based at our Loganlea facility.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build a long‑term career in manufacturing.

Previous experience is not essential. While experience in manufacturing, machinery operation, rubber, polyurethane or a workshop environment would be an advantage, we are primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

You will be trained to operate specialised machinery used in the manufacture of polyurethane and rubber sealing products, while developing practical skills across production, machining, maintenance and quality control.

Key responsibilities

Your duties will include:

- Setting up and operating polyurethane casting machines
- Operating rubber vulcanising hydraulic presses
- Monitoring production equipment and making basic adjustments to temperature, pressure and processing parameters
- Trimming, inspecting, labelling and packing finished products




- Conducting quality checks to ensure finished products meet company and customer requirements
- Operating manual lathes for facing, trimming and machining clamping/back plates
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Loading and handling raw materials and finished products
- Performing routine machine cleaning, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Assisting with basic troubleshooting and reporting equipment faults
- Maintaining production records where required
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE
- Working closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Technically minded with good mechanical aptitude
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Comfortable working with machinery and tools
- Able to follow procedures and work safely
- Detail-focused and committed to producing quality work
- Physically capable of carrying out general manufacturing and manual handling duties
- Comfortable standing and working in a workshop environment
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Looking for secure, long‑term employment and the opportunity to develop new skills

No previous polyurethane, rubber or manufacturing experience is required.

Experience in manufacturing, machine operation, manual lathes, mechanical work or a similar workshop environment would be highly regarded but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

A valid driver's licence would also be advantageous.
