We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Entry-Level Administration Assistant to join our team based in Ipswich.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in administration or move into an office-based role.

Previous administration experience is not essential. We are happy to provide training to the right person. However, common sense, a strong work ethic, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn are essential.

You will work alongside an experienced administration team and receive support and on-the-job training while learning the day-to-day operations of a busy workplace.

This is a varied general administration role and would suit someone who enjoys being organised, helping others and keeping things running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

Your duties will include:

- General administration and office support
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Monitoring, responding to and forwarding emails
- Data entry and updating company records
- Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic and paper records
- Preparing basic documents and correspondence
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing paperwork
- Printing, photocopying and document preparation
- Assisting team members with general administrative tasks
- Keeping records and information organised and up to date
- Maintaining a tidy and organised office environment
- Other general administration duties as required

About You

- Is extremely organised and has strong attention to detail
- Has common sense and initiative




- Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a job properly
- Is reliable, punctual and dependable
- Is friendly, polite and professional
- Has good written and verbal communication skills
- Can follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Is comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
- Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Is comfortable asking questions when unsure
- Is willing to learn and take on new tasks
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a positive and practical approach to their work
- Has reliable transport to and from the workplace, as public transport is not available
- Previous administration experience is not necessary. Your attitude, reliability, organisation and willingness to learn are more important to us.
