HunterNet Career Connections, in partnership with our host company, is seeking a motivated Electronics Apprentice to join their team in Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking for a career change to earn while they learn and complete a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications over four years.

Our host company is a nationally recognised and reputable electronics business specialising in the repair and sale of electronic devices, particularly mobile phones.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment, developing practical skills in electronics diagnostics, repairs, servicing and fault finding while receiving structured training and support throughout your apprenticeship.

About the role:

As an Electronics Apprentice, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Diagnosing and repairing faults in mobile phones and other electronic equipment
- Assisting with electronic installations and servicing
- Following maintenance schedules and servicing requirements
- Working towards and achieving business KPIs
- Following established processes and procedures




- Reporting to the Service Manager
- Maintaining a high standard of workplace health and safety
- Completing TAFE training and competencies
- Supporting the wider team with other relevant duties as required

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Highly motivated, reliable and keen to learn
- Interested in electronics, technology and problem‑solving
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Able to follow instructions, processes and procedures
- A team player who works well with others
- Proactive and able to use initiative during quieter periods
- Committed to workplace health and safety
- Willing to commit to completing the practical and theoretical components of a four‑year apprenticeship

As part of the recruitment process, suitable applicants will be required to complete and pass a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
