- Package up to $164,578 pa. Package includes salary range ($133,348 pa to $146,945 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Greenacre - (2-3 office days required)
About the role:
Lead and coordinate applied fire research to provide an evidence base for the development and improvement of fire safety policy, guidelines and standards, supporting safer built environments and improved community outcomes.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience designing and undertaking complex research projects, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, and translating findings into practical, evidence-based recommendations.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively with technical experts, industry professionals and diverse stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations and briefs, and effectively influence policy, standards and decision-making through evidence-based advice.
Essential Requirements:
- Tertiary level scientific qualifications or equivalent experience
