ForestOne is Australia's largest independent distributor of plywood, timber, laminate, and decorative surface materials for sustainable interior design. We are currently looking for a full time Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Benalla.
Key responsibilities n

Provide the maximum level of machine availability and reliability.
n
Provide safe operating performance of machinery and processes.
n
Complete
Preventative/predictive
maintenance as directed
n
Providing the necessary information for reordering of parts.
n
Undertake repairs and maintenance of site machinery and equipment.
n
Operate the lathe.
n
Welding and fabrication.
n
About you n
n
A Mechanical Fitter trade or other trade qualification with extensive mechanical experience.
n




In-depth knowledge of WHSE legislation and protected work practices.
n
Understanding of Manufacturing equipment.
n
Robust written and verbal communications skills.
n
Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing and National Character Check.
