Your current role:As Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide advanced nursing leadership and operational management for Princess Alexandra Hospital's Cancer Services at Redland Satellite Health Centre, with an oversight and support role for the Eight Mile Plains Satellite Cancer Service. You will lead a skilled team, optimise resources and foster a positive workplace culture focused on safe, high-quality cancer care and improved patient outcomes.In this role, you will:Lead the delivery of safe, evidence-based and person-centred cancer care, ensuring clinical standards and service performance targets are achieved.Manage staffing, rostering, workforce development, budgets and resources to support efficient service delivery.Drive clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management and compliance with healthcare standards.Build an engaged and capable nursing team through mentoring, education, professional development and succession planning.About you:You are an experienced nursing leader with strong clinical expertise in cancer care and a passion for developing high-performing teams. You bring sound operational and financial management skills, excellent communication abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and compassionate patient care.You will bring:Advanced knowledge of contemporary cancer nursing practice, treatments, clinical standards and patient outcomes.Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff management, rostering, resource allocation and fostering a positive team culture.Strong skills in clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management and service improvement.Experience in budget management, performance monitoring,

The hospital provides comprehensive adult cancer services encompassing haematological, surgical, medical and radiation oncology specialties, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, cell therapy, cancer vaccines and stem cell transplantation.
