This is a busy role, and you will be challenged each day with a range of detailed duties. You will proactively review and reconcile supplier invoice pricing against contractually agreed prices and terms, prepare accurate pricing analysis and reports, and maintain pricing in accordance with approved agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively review and reconcile supplier invoice pricing against contractually agreed prices and terms, and correct discrepancies.
- Prepare and provide accurate pricing analysis and reports to management and relevant teams.
- Review the end-to-end invoice payment process, identify control gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements from invoice validation through to processing.
- Load and maintain pricing in accordance with approved agreements, ensuring all applicable terms, discounts, rebates, allowances and effective dates are calculated and recorded accurately.
- Notify relevant stakeholders promptly of pricing changes, discrepancies and required corrections.
- Pricing analysis including competitor comparison, products sold below cost, price change report and price overrides.
- Identify appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase consumer traffic.
- Maintain documented pricing controls,
approval records and audit trails to support accurate, authorised and traceable pricing decisions.
- Compliance to pricing policies and procedures.
- Compiling relevant data and ad-hoc tasks as required.
About you
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Good pricing, computer and administration knowledge and skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and complete tasks accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including robust Excel skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role.
- Good organisational skills with a positive can-do attitude.
