We are currently seeking an experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead to join a financial services transformation program. This is a key delivery role working across business, product, technology and delivery , with responsibility for driving outcomes across a complex ecosystem. The focus is on finding someone with strong delivery capability experience.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, technology teams and external vendors to prioritise work, manage and ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise product backlogs and delivery outcomes.
- Drive delivery across complex financial services technology environments.
- Translate business objectives into clear priorities, requirements and delivery plans.
- Manage competing priorities, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, Testers and business stakeholders.
- Manage and challenge external implementation partners and vendors.
- Take ownership of delivery outcomes across the wider ecosystem.
- Identify and resolve blockers and cross-functional dependencies.
- Facilitate decision-making across business and technology stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements and analysis provide sufficient clarity for development and testing.
- Provide leadership across the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, quality and ways of working.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Product (Delivery) Owner
- Strong financial services experience.
- Proven experience delivering technology or business transformation.
- Robust Product Owner and/or Delivery Lead capability.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end technology delivery lifecycle.
- Experience working with implementation partners, systems integrators or vendors.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- The ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
- A pragmatic, outcome‑focused approach to delivery.
- The ability to work across multiple business and technology domains.
Desirable Experience
- Data and integration transformation.
- Agile delivery and backlog management.
- Large‑scale enterprise technology transformation.
- Experience transitioning delivery ownership from an implementation partner to an internal team.
