Chisholm is seeking an experienced Education Manager to join our Chisholm Online Teaching Department.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Education Manager (EM1) for Chisholm Online is accountable for the provision of quality, operational leadership, and support for the business area through the focus and development of strategies and programs that promote the Chisholm Group’s Educational Excellence Framework.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Chisholm Online Business Area and will support in managing and leading the implementation of educational excellence, business growth and opportunities for Chisholm Online.
This position will play a key role in implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen Chisholm’s reputation as a leading provider of high-quality online education. The role will support the delivery and continuous improvement of a broad and diverse range of qualifications across multiple industry areas, ensuring Chisholm Online remains responsive to evolving industry, workforce and community needs while delivering accessible, contemporary and high-quality learning experiences.
The incumbent is a key member of the Chisholm Online business area and will manage teaching resources and build teacher capability, along with managing projects to implement the Chisholm Education Quality framework that involve managing teacher currency, course validation, course compliance and professional development to create a teaching centre of excellence that uplifts the student online learning experience.
As the "go to" person when teachers need support and direction, the incumbent will demonstrate sound educational knowledge to prepare and mentor the teachers in Chisholm Online business area.
Key responsibilities include-
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including; Teacher Performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress
- Maintain high standards of professional practice and develop co-operative and effective working relationships between all staff and across the Institute, Industry and Employer Network.
- Lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of cutting-edge, customised, high-quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients
- Improve the quality of teaching and learning through ensuring materials have a student-based approach and adaptive curriculum to secure best outcomes
- Engage with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs and currency
- Contribute to business development activities including tenders and submissions to support business growth and the Institute’s fee for service goals
- Work collaboratively with industry to align current and emerging industry needs and facilitate relevant and responsive delivery models that engage learners
- Manage and support the validation of assessment strategies across all operational areas and maintain a continuous improvement register in accordance with registration standards
- Coordinate students’ needs including managing student wellbeing responses and responding to feedback / issues either through delegation.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications required for the role:
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 5/6 level or higher
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency
- Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
