My client is looking for a genuine Engineering Team Lead who thrives on managing a team while staying close to the code. You will drive their technical direction and mentor talented engineers to ensure delivery is high-quality and aligned with business outcomes.
At the intersection of product, architecture and delivery, the role shapes solutions from high level requirements. Finalising priorities and making final decisions on what the team works on.
You will also influence engineering standards, team culture and performance, helping deliver scalable and robust systems that make a real impact.
What you will do
- Lead and manage an engineering team, owning their growth, delivery and performance
- Allocate tasks, set priorities and manage incidents while maintaining product quality
- Mentor engineers, foster a high performing cooperative culture and lift our engineering standards
- Continuously improve our processes and the way our team works
What we are looking for
- Strong .NET experience with hands-on design and delivery
- Proven leadership or Tech Lead experience with the ability to grow and inspire a team
- Deep knowledge of Microservices, Event-Driven Architectures and Domain Driven Design
- Commitment to engineering best practices, test-driven development and high-quality systems
