The Office Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the office. The position ensures that office systems, records, resources, and administrative processes operate efficiently while coordinating staff activities and supporting the effective delivery of business operations.

The role requires practical office management capability, strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate administrative workflows, staff, records and business resources in a busy commercial environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, reviewing and improving office services, administrative systems, procedures, priorities and operational standards.
- Coordinate personnel activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training, performance management and staff supervision.
- Manage office records and accounts, including customer and supplier documentation, correspondence, quotations, invoices, orders and filing systems.
- Oversee office equipment, supplies and purchasing, including materials required for printing, signage and print-finishing operations.
- Coordinate administration of customer orders and print-production workflows, including pre-press, scheduling, printing, signage, finishing and dispatch.
- Liaise with management, staff, customers, suppliers and service providers to coordinate operations, resolve issues and support timely order completion.
- Coordinate office personnel, workspace, equipment and resources, allocate duties, manage workloads and monitor staff performance.

Qualifications and Experience

- Applicants should have a relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in business, management, administration or a related field, or at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
- Candidates should have demonstrated experience in office management or a comparable role involving responsibility for coordinating office operations, staff, resources and administrative processes,



rather than experience limited to routine clerical or administrative duties.

Skills and Capabilities

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

- Strong office management, organisation and administrative coordination skills.
- Practical understanding of accounts, invoicing, payroll and personnel administration.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with common office and business software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise competing responsibilities and work independently.
- Positive understanding of workplace procedures, confidentiality and WHS requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
