VC Maintenance is a locally established business specialising in servicing, maintaining and repairing earthmoving equipment, quarry machinery, heavy vehicles and light vehicles. We support an extensive company fleet and a growing external customer base across the Mackay region.
For an immediate start we require tradespeople with a "Can Do" attitude and a passion for all things mechanical.
The roles on offer are for workshop positions to support our diverse fleet of Earthmoving, Quarrying, Road Haulage and Light Vehicles.
Working a Monday to Friday day shift, with optional Saturday work as required, this is a great opportunity to secure reliable, long-term local employment.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing hydraulic systems and pneumatic control systems faults
- Strong knowledge of fluid power & hydraulic control systems & pneumatic systems
- Sound knowledge of maintenance, and repairs on Large Earthmoving & Quarrying equipment and Road Haulage Trucks
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal reliability
- Be able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Hold a current Australian Driver's license and be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Refrigerant handling license (desired but not essential)
- A valid HC Driver's license (desired but not essential)
