Our client is a global leader in specialty chemicals and ingredients distribution with a well-established Melbourne operation. An opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Analyst to join the supply chain team, supporting the performance of import and domestic logistics through data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
- Analysing logistics performance across import and domestic freight
- Developing and maintaining KPI reporting and dashboards
- Identifying cost and service improvement opportunities
- Leading and supporting continuous improvement projects
- Working with 3PL, carrier and freight forwarding partners
- Reviewing freight costs, lead times and service levels
- Supporting process, system and provider changes
- Partnering with customer service, procurement and sales teams
What you will bring
- 3 to 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain
- Exposure to import, domestic or transport logistics
- Background in FMCG, 3PL, freight forwarding or distribution
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
- Experience with ERP or WMS systems
- Track record of contributing to improvement projects
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain, engineering or a related field well regarded
