This isn't your traditional EA role. We're looking for a proactive, people-focused Executive Assistant to support our CEO and a diverse team of General Managers, while taking ownership of our Hobart corporate office.

One day you'll be coordinating executive meetings and travel, the next you'll be organising an event, welcoming guests or finding a better way to do things.

About the role

You’ll be the go‑to person who keeps our executive team supported and our Hobart office running like clockwork.

Your days will include:

- Keep things moving - Manage diaries, coordinate meetings, organise travel and help our busy leaders stay one step ahead.
- Own the office - Take the lead on the day-to-day running of our Hobart corporate office, from facilities and suppliers to making sure everything works as it should.
- Bring people together - Coordinate leadership meetings, team events, company functions and site visits, making sure every detail is taken care of.
- Be the face of Huon - Welcome guests, coordinate visits and create a great experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
- Support a diverse leadership team - Build great relationships with our General Managers, understand their different needs and help them focus on what matters.
- Make things better - Spot opportunities to simplify processes, improve how we work and introduce new ideas.




- Keep the details covered - Manage invoices, expenses, office administration and all those important behind-the-scenes tasks that keep things running smoothly.

About you

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others succeed, takes pride in creating an organised workplace and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You’ll be someone who:

- Has experience in executive support, office management or a similar role where juggling priorities is all in a day's work.
- Loves organising people, places and things
- Is confident working with multiple senior leaders and can adapt to different personalities and working styles.
- Takes initiative, thinks ahead and doesn't need to be asked twice. It helps if you can read minds!
- Is approachable, professional and enjoys building relationships across the business.
- Can manage competing priorities without losing your sense of humour.
- Is comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and enjoys finding smarter ways to get things done.
- Understands the importance of discretion, confidentiality and good judgement.

Salmon are a temperate species. They evolved in the cool, high latitude waters of the North Atlantic, an environment which provides well defined seasons that drive the natural life rhythm of the salmon.

Although far from the Atlantic Ocean - unspoilt and remote - the pristine waters of the Huon River, Hideaway Bay and the Southern Ocean in Tasmania Australia have proven to be the ideal location to raise healthy, flavoursome Atlantic salmon.

With water fed by tributaries that start in World Heritage Wilderness Areas, air that’s refreshed by the famous roaring forties and fertile soil that spawned flourishing apple orchards, Atlantic salmon thrive in the unspoilt environs of Tasmania.

Tasmania is also free from a number of parasites and diseases that have effected some salmon colonies around the world.
