Key responsibilities
- Preparing and lodging tax returns,
financial reports, monthly and quarterly tax statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Conducting tax planning and providing strategic advice to clients
- Timely response to the client's needs on all kinds of Accounting support.
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
- Researching and staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensuring clients' compliance with all relevant tax legislation and regulations
- Providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with clients
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in a public practice
- Master's or Bachelor's accounting degree and completed Australian taxation.
- Proficient in Mandarin and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Xero, Myob, Office.
- Thorough understanding of Australian tax legislation and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A completed CPA/CA qualification is required
- Australian work rights are required for this position
