Mental Health Kids Hub supports children aged 0-12 years experiencing mental health, emotional, behavioural, developmental, and wellbeing challenges. Through strong partnerships with families, schools, and community services, we provide early intervention, therapeutic support, and family-centred care in a safe and inclusive environment.

About the Opportunity

Join a passionate multidisciplinary team committed to giving children the very best start in life. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help shape meaningful care pathways through tailored, evidence-based support that promotes wellbeing, participation, and positive developmental outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and reviews for a paediatric outpatient caseload.
- Developing individualised, family-centred treatment plans that support emotional regulation, sensory processing, social participation, executive functioning, and daily living skills.
- Working collaboratively with families, schools, and community services to achieve the best outcomes for children.
- Contributing to multidisciplinary care planning, risk management, case conferencing, referrals, and discharge planning.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and professional records.
- Supervising junior Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students as required.
- Participating in education, quality improvement, and service development initiatives.

About You

- Demonstrated ability to meet the essential criteria
- Demonstrated extensive experience in assessment and provision of Occupational Therapy services to young people presenting with a variety of developmental difficulties/diagnoses.
- Understanding of the principles of Recovery Oriented Mental Health Practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team with strong time management skills and ability to prioritise complex clinical loads and meet competing demands
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and clinical education.
